Spice me Up, please...

I Love Aglio Olio Spaghetti So much
and my son loves it too
My last Aglio Olio experience was at The Nanny's
It's so good
So, last week after my yoga class
I ran to Food Hall and grab all the ingredients
I tried to make this meal few times but my mistake was
I never used Olive Oil, which was the most important ingredients of this recipe
Stupid Me.. :)

Forgive me to forget to take the picture of my meal
But here is a recipe to try, got it from www.freerecipe.org

Ingredients
  • 13 oz of dried spaghetti --> I used 3/4 box of La Fonte Angel's hair
  • 1/2 cup of olive oil --> found it at Foodhall for IDR29K
  • 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1-2 large red chillies, seeded and finely chopped--> i used 10 bird's eye chilli pepper for more spicy flavor
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 can of tuna chucks -->it's not in the recipe but it sure made my meal more delicious

Cooking Instructions

Bring a large saucepan of salted water to a boil and add the spaghetti. Stir well and boil rapidly for 8 minutes, or until the pasta is al dente.

Meanwhile, combine the oil, garlic, and chilli in a small saucepan. Cook over a low heat for 7-8 minutes to allow the oil to absorb all the flavors. The garlic should become golden brown but don’t allow it to burn. --> please be patient cause it took more than 8 minutes until the garlic turned into golden brown or your pasta will be turned out plain

Drain the cooked pasta and return it to the large saucepan over a very low heat. Make sure it’s not a high heat because you don’t want to dry out the pasta. Pour the oil mixture over the pasta and add the parsley. Mix thoroughly so all the pasta is well coated with the oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve

Enjoy your Spicy Aglio Olio Pasta...

I Love Your Smell

I'm not a Perfume Lover, almost never bought it by myself. I remember my first perfume was Color by Benetton, shared it with my sister, it's a gift from my parents. And my college year perfume was a red jeans from Versace (gift from my friend). Never wear the perfume until the last drop cause I don't want to be identified by one fragrant only. I Love to wear different kinds of fragrant depend on my mood everyday. I spray it whenever I need to lift my mood up. That's why I have choices of perfumes to wear everyday (mostly a gift, Lucky me!) Too Feminine from Aigner. Really love this smell, It has a very sweet smell and I feel really feminine whenever I wear it. I choose this smell for evening or for work day when I want to feel like a lady... Starlight from Aigner The strong smell made me feeling very powerful. I spray this whenever I want to feel stronger to face the day (meeting with customer or credit committee...:) J'adore from Dior Whenever I need an elegant fe...

Holiday is Coming to Town

courtesy of www.landscapeindonesia.com Holiday is coming to town. Irvin had graduated from PlayGroup, Adrian got 5th place in his class (proud of you, son) and today I will attend Annual Performance at Adrian's school. The Kids will enjoy their almost 4 weeks holiday. And still, I have got no plan to spend the holiday. Emergency plan, we will send the kids to their grandparents at Cirebon for a week while me and my Super Ex Boyfriend will arrange another plan :) Actually, I never had plan any trip in my holiday. Since we both work and to match our annual leaves is a little bit hassle and the holiday always come in June or December (of course) where office is on busy mode achieving target. So our holiday would be on Idul Fitri holiday and New Year Holiday. We never go to somewhere distant, only Cirebon (where my in-laws live) or Bandung (where my parents live) or casual runaway to Bogor or Hotel Kristal - a nearby hotel at Pondok Indah.. hahaha. See our casual destination is really...
